Remember what Yeats said when Ireland was coming apart in the beginning of the 20th century:  “The best lack all conviction, while the worst are filled with passionate intensity.”

You know what, Im digging your blog! Im digging the theme and most of all the evidence of your unyielding attempts to stay involved and fight for more and for a richer existence. Keep on rocking!
“The best lack all conviction…” Got me thinking big time it did. That cant be true though, can it? If so, being worse seems a whole lot less empty.

    • Thanks so much for your kind words — they really mean a lot, especially when I don’t even know if anyone actually reads this thing. Anyway, I love that quotation. You got a point there. No, I don’t know or think that it can always be true, but listening to the news sometimes, doesn’t it seem so?

      Cheers,
      M
